World of Warcraft: Forever ships as a base game covered by your normal subscription — the packs are optional upgrades layered on top. There are three digital tiers: the Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99), the Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) and the Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99), plus a physical Collector’s Edition sold through the Blizzard Gear Store. Each tier includes everything in the one below it, with beta access and the digital extras concentrated in the upper two.

What does each tier unlock?
Heroic Pack ($29.99) is the race tier: the Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle starting experience, plus the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, the Shen’dorei Skyseer’s Garb transmog set, the Veteran Adventurer’s Rucksack back transmog, the Shen’dorei Windwell toy, Skyborne Housing Decor and the Early Name Reservation window (October 27 – November 3).
Epic Pack ($59.99) adds the guaranteed beta access — via a Beta Access Code emailed with redemption instructions — plus the Veteran Adventurer’s Loyal Companion mount, the Outdoor Wear transmog set, four cross-franchise pets, the Lordaeron and Shen’dorei tabards, and 30 days of Game Time added to your account at launch.
Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99) tops up the Epic contents with Warcraft III: Reforged and its new Forsaken Kingdom campaign, plus a Forsaken & Human Figurine Decor for housing-style display. A physical Collector’s Edition with collectibles is also available through the Blizzard Gear Store.
How does beta access and the friend system work?
Epic and Collection buyers receive a Beta Access Code by email — redemption requires a WoW game account, and the code cannot be redeemed on accounts that already have beta access. All three tiers include Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes (one for Heroic, three for Epic and Collection), emailed from October 20, 2026; they grant eligible friends access during launch week, November 4–11, 2026 — they are not beta keys.
So what does the subscription alone get you?
Everything essential: Blizzard’s own wording is that all players “can access WoW: Forever through their normal game subscription without additional purchase, just like Classic.” The full level 1-60 game, the new zones, dungeons, raids, the Legacy system and the November 4 launch are all covered. The packs buy the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle, beta access, cosmetics and game time — perks, not paywalls for the core game. More on the model in What Is WoW Forever?
