FAQ

Can both Horde and Alliance Skyborne be Druids?
Yes. Blizzard says both Skyborne factions can choose Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Druid. Horde Skyborne also gain Shaman, while Alliance Skyborne also gain Mage.
What do Skyborne Druid forms look like?
They are sky-blue race-specific forms. Wowhead reports the Bear as a bird-bear hybrid, the Cat as similar to modern WoW Owlcats, the Travel form as a bird, and the Moonkin shown alongside them at BlizzCon.
Does Moonkin Form exist in WoW Forever?
Yes. A Moonkin (Boomkin) form is confirmed for Skyborne druids — it was shown at the BlizzCon reveal — and for Classic races like Night Elf and Tauren, Moonkin Form remains the Balance talent-tree form as in Classic.
Is there a Skyborne Tree of Life form?
No Tree form has been shown or datamined so far. Wowhead notes there is no indication of one at this time.
Is there a flight form for druids in WoW Forever?
Forever has no flying, so there is no flight travel to support — the bird-shaped Skyborne Travel form travels on the ground like every other travel option.
Does the Skyborne Travel form fly?
No. Forever has no flying, so the bird-shaped Travel form travels on the ground like every other travel option.

What do Skyborne Druid forms look like in WoW Forever?

Skyborne Druids get exclusive sky-blue forms for Bear, Cat, Travel, and Moonkin (Boomkin) — shown on stage at BlizzCon 2026 and previewed in Wowhead’s coverage. The Bear mixes bird and bear traits, the Cat looks like modern WoW’s Owlcats, and the bird-shaped Travel form walks rather than flies because Forever has no flying. No Tree form has appeared in any preview or datamine so far.

Which Skyborne Druid forms are confirmed?

Blizzard’s What’s Next panel recap confirms two things directly: Skyborne on both Horde and Alliance can be Druids, and the race receives new Druid forms created specifically for it. The form-by-form detail comes from Wowhead’s BlizzCon auditorium report and its later forms article — a credible account of the official preview, not yet a Blizzard-published art spec.

Sky-blue is the shared signature: every form shown so far wears the race’s blue feather palette. The Skyborne race guide covers the unlock, faction variants, and racials that sit alongside these forms.

What about all the other Druid forms in WoW Forever?

The Skyborne set is the only form lineup Blizzard has individually re-previewed for Forever. Every other druid — Night Elf and Tauren druids carry over unchanged from Classic — uses the Classic form system: Bear, Cat, Travel and Aquatic as the baseline toolkit, with Moonkin Form coming from the Balance talent tree, exactly as it did in Classic.

Two Classic-era expectations are worth calibrating:

Form questionStatus in WoW Forever
Bear / Cat / Travel / AquaticClassic baseline for non-Skyborne druids; the Classic look unless future datamines say otherwise
Moonkin FormBalance talent-tree form for Classic races; Skyborne get a dedicated sky-blue version
Tree of LifeNot shown in any preview — and it never existed in original level-60 Classic, where it arrived with Burning Crusade
Flight FormMoot: Forever has no flying, so there is no flight travel for any form to support

Form colors follow each race’s palette — the Skyborne forms wear the race’s blue feather palette, the same one that runs through the Skyborne customization options. Since Forever keeps Classic’s nine-class foundation, the Classic shapeshifting structure is the reliable baseline while beta datamines fill in the details.

What did the BlizzCon reveal show?

The forms were revealed on stage at BlizzCon 2026, with the Bear, Cat, Travel, and Boomkin models displayed alongside the race reveal. Wowhead’s First Look notes Blizzard had not released official artwork at that time — the models were shown in the auditorium rather than in a published art dump — which is why press screenshots are the best available record.

One detail worth flagging from that coverage: Forever has no flying, so the bird-shaped Travel form is a walking bird. That matches the Classic-versus-Retail systems comparison, which tracks the demo’s movement and system changes.

How do the forms fit Skyborne character options?

Forms and character customization are separate systems. The sky-blue feather palette carries across both — the same blue shows in the customization options (feather styles, feather colors, ear lengths) and in every Druid form shown so far. Class availability is shared: Druid is one of the four core Skyborne classes, with faction variants adding Shaman or Mage per the class roster.

What could still change before launch?

Everything above is pre-launch material: the models were stage-revealed and datamined from beta builds, and beta builds change. Watch for form polish passes, palette adjustments, or an added Tree form in the run-up to the November 4 launch tracked in the release date guide. The talent-system overview separately covers how Druid class tuning is being handled.
